We were over from London as part of a hockey tournament in Breda and booked a table for 13 at The Chai Affairs. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding. I messaged the restaurant on WhatsApp in the afternoon and received an immediate response from the owner, who was incredibly accommodating with all our requests. The food was freshly made, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared. The chicken tikka starter was unbelievably soft, succulent, and perfectly cooked. For the mains, the chicken tikka masala was absolutely divine. We also loved that you can choose your preferred spice level for each dish. What really stood out was that our group is extremely fussy when it comes to Indian food — and many of us are cooks ourselves, so we can be quite critical of Indian food prepared by others. The fact that every single person in our group gave the food a resounding mark of approval says everything about how good the food really is. If you want authentic Indian food that's thoughtfully prepared with fantastic hospitality, this is definitely the place to go.

WOW WOW WOW! The food was finger licking good. I am an Indian myself and we went there with our whole family, so we were 8 people in total. The receptionist/ waitress was so sweet, she made sure that we had the best service possible. And let me tell you about the food, The chef did an amazing job, the food was made with so much love and detail. My whole family ate twice as much food 😂❤️ I definitely recommend, We are all so full and the chef made sure of it. The chef was actually the loveliest, We had some chitchat with her before leaving cuz we were the last ones HAHAHA, i will definitely be coming back to try more🙏🏼

Vers eten, goed geprijsd en mooie porties. Vriendelijke bediening. Als je van authentiek Indiaas eten houdt, zou ik dit zeker een keer proberen.

Highly recommend The Chai Affairs! We enjoyed every bite of the authentic butter chicken, garlic naan, and papri chaat. Excellent service and a super tasty coconut mango lassi!

This small restaurant is a superb place to eat. The butter chicken and garlic naan bread I highly recommend. Fast service beautiful flavours. All 3 of us loved the food. We will be back next time we are in Breda.

Rare to find in Europe but The Chai Affairs has got Absolutely authentic and tasty Indian food! A must try restaurant if you want to taste real Indian food.
